Why Momentum
We watched commercial energy teams spend hours every week on manual work that AI can do faster and more reliably: scoring offers, drafting proposals, reading invoices, briefing counterparties. We also saw that while some existing tools could be stitched together, they never fully satisfied the energy team's needs. So we built the Momentum suites as AI-native solutions that facilitate the actual energy procurement and origination workflows.
Built on years of operational use.
Momentum Energy’s Procurement product was developed in close collaboration with commercial procurement professionals at RFP Energy Solutions, where the buy-side workflow has been used operationally for years. The Origination product is newer — built fresh for IPPs and asset owners with the same “in the workflow, every day” discipline.
Momentum closes the loop.
Each existing tool solves a slice. None close the loop. Market intel platforms like BNEF, Wood Mac, and Enverus deliver data without workflow — every number sits in a separate tab. PPA marketplaces like LevelTen are buyer-side only, with nothing for the originators on the other side of the deal. CRMs like Salesforce Energy Cloud put a generic skin on a generic engine, with none of the energy-team vocabulary teams actually use. Momentum is the missing layer for each side: ingest → score → recommend → execute, in the vocabulary of the people doing the work.
